i dreamt about end of the world weather. i was walking uphill on a street covered in mud and leaves and all around me were gushes of floods breaking banks and shooting through buildings. i was calm. i hid on a high bank with trees to guard me and tied my shoelaces. turns out the trees were jim henson esque and could talk. earlier on i was looking through my old CD cabinet. we threw it out about 5 years ago. i found an everything everything LP, badges and a half finished drawing of lara croft with her boobs on show. i gave the badge to whoever was sitting next to me (annelise?) then went back into my room. it wasn't my room, it was a house share and i had a patio. it was night time. and there was a fridge. a strange portal fridge, just before i woke up i was trying to keep an angry man out of a room. it was dark and silent and we were stamping on the ground to frighten him. then we sent out a girl who's tshirt was so big her bra was on show. then the man appeared out of nowhere. it was easy for him to kick the door in but for us to keep it closed. metaphor?

i didn't go into work today. my sister is on the verge of giving birth. i just don't want to miss it when she does. i decorated the tree and made a wreath with cuttings from my garden. a friend of a friend told me to do stretches that involve standing feet shoulder width apart and rubbing the palm of your hand down the side of your leg. easy.

i woke up the next day in excruciating pain.

i made an impromptu visit to liverpool, decorated emilia's christmas tree, held a baby, and stayed out all night. kate green and annelise told me they want to get a house in july and asked me to move in with them. urmmmm yes please. we toasted to kate's dad and danced to y-control like we did two years ago at Underground. this new living situation is a lot easier as i won't have to find a job in leeds this way.

emilia had a dance off with a black guy that could really swing. he thanked me and shaked my hand afterwards. guys always do that when i'm the only boy there.
